Meet Our Staff

Thomas G. Foreman, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Foreman has been a surgeon for more than 20 years. He  practiced and raised his family in his hometown of Hornell, NY. A graduate of Hornell area schools – Hornell High School and Alfred University – Dr. Foreman completed his post-graduate education at University of Buffalo. He then completed his residency with a specialty in general surgery at Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo. Dr. Foreman is board certified by the American Board of Surgeons and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

He has three children Tom, Derek and Erin.

Mary Jo Foreman RN, BSN, CNOR, RNFA

Mary Jo is a graduate of St. James Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Hornell, NY. She received her Bachelors degree from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY and obtained her Registered Nurse First Assistant certification from the National Institute of First Assistants program in Denver, Colorado. She is a certified operating room nurse and has worked at both Bethesda and St. James in Hornell, NY for 27 years. Most recently, she worked as the manager of the surgical services department at St. James Mercy Health in Hornell, NY.

She has lived in Hornell all her life and has 2 children Brittany and Richie.

Christine Holmes, Office Manager

Considering that I am a "Military Brat", I have lived in various locations most of my life. I was born in Hawaii and now live in Coldwater, MS. Since neither one of these have anything in common, I tend to ask myself this question, "How did I end up here"? Actually, my husband (Rod) is in the United States Army and this is where he is stationed permanently. We have a 2 year old daughter (Kennedy) that keeps us extremely busy! Being a "mommy" is such a rewarding role.

I previously was the Office Manager/Administrative Assistant for a Vascular Surgeon for 12 years.

I am glad to be a part of our community and strive to give our patients the best care they deserve.
